Randi Zuckerberg ran marketing at Facebook for six years, where her team led the company’s U.S. election and international politics strategy, launched the live streaming industry with her media partnerships around the U.S. Presidential Inauguration, and was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2011 for her innovative TV/online coverage of the 2010 mid-term elections. Randi has appeared on CNN, Good Morning America, The Today Show, Bloomberg, NDTV & World News, and was a correspondent for the 2011 Golden Globe Awards and the World Economic Forum in Davos.

In August 2011, Randi left Facebook to start RtoZ Media, a new type of media platform that will be launching later this year. She was recently appointed to the United Nations Global Entrepreneurs Council, the World Economic Forum’s Global Council on Social Media, and the U.S. Broadcasting Board of Governors Commission on Innovation. Randi holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Harvard University.

Since June 2006, Doug has been developing and producing brand funded entertainment for clients, including The Business of Innovation for IBM, Digital Cribs for Cisco, The Invested Life for TD Ameritrade, and an animated series for Capri Sun. Before founding Jumpwire Media in 2009 Gavin worked for online video start up Joost and was the Head of Cross Platform Business Development at global television production company Endemol. Gavin has been working in media space for over 20 years.

His past experience includes positions at major television networks as well as owning and operating a television production company and a boutique advertising agency. His company created some of the first cross media TV content and worked with major networks including NBC,Discovery, CTV, and Global Television. In 2007 he moved into the web video arena based out of the Joost’s New York office.

He is invited to speak at media industry conferences on a regular basis including: MIPCOM, International Institute of Communications, Harvard Business Club of New York, Ryerson University,NAPTE, Xmedia Lab, etc.

Marco Ferrari, CEO Zodiak Active

Marco Ferrari is CEO at Zodiak Active the new global division of  Zodiak Media Group dedicated to digital and branded content.

For more than ten years, he had been Chairman and CEO of Neo Network, one of the most innovative digital companies in Europe, which he founded in 2000 and which is now part of Zodiak Active.

Marco began his carrier as a journalist, working for leading italian newspapers and magazines and developing various television shows for Mediaset.  A professional journalist since 1996, with specialization at Columbia University in New York, he gained a degree in Law in 1995.

He is actually a member of the Board of Directors of Zodiak Active, Magnolia Spa  and Parma FC Spa.

Doug Scott, Senior Partner, President, Ogilvy Entertainment

Doug Scott is the President of OgilvyEntertainment, where he has, since June 2006, been developing and producing brand funded entertainment for clients, including The Business of Innovation for IBM, Digital Cribs for Cisco, The Invested Life for TD Ameritrade, and an animated series for Capri Sun.

Before Ogilvy, Doug was co-founder of MATTER, where he developed and produced high visibility integrated marketing programs including Diddy Runs the City for Sean Combs, the Lohas Conference for Ford Motor Company and Blender Sessions concert series. Prior to MATTER, Doug was Executive Vice President, Marketing and Branded Entertainment Creative Director at Hypnotic where he developed the Chrysler Million Dollar Film Festival for Daimler Chrysler as well as programs for Reebok, Nintendo and Toyota.

Early in his career, Doug was involved in launching the Hollywood Stock Exchange which was a simulated stock market where you could trade movies, stars and music properties; ArtView, a global network of galleries, auction houses and museums and the Red Herring magazine.

Doug is an advisor to Desi Hits, Treehugger, and Sogua and an active speaker at industry conferences such as MIPTV, The Festival of Media and OnMedia, and a guest lecturer at several business schools, including NYU and UCLA.  He holds a B.S. in Economics from University of Maryland, College Park.

Ammar Bakkar, Director of New Media at MBC Group (Dubaï)

Ammar has been, since 2005, the Director of New Media at MBC Group, which is regarded as the largest media organizations in the Middle East.

Within his job responsibilities at MBC, Ammar launched MoBC, a mobile entertainment brand, which has grown to be the highest revenue generating mobile brand in the Middle East. Ammar has also launched the group various websites and portals including Shahid.net (which is considered the Hulu of the Middle East).

Ammar is also a weekly columnist on the issues of digital media since 1996. Ammar holds a doctoral degree from the University of Oklahoma (USA), where he studied political campaigning on the web and creativity enhancement in media organizations.

Dr. Bakkar was the subject of numerous press stories and profiles. In 2009,  he was described by the famous Arab Newspaper, Alhayat, as “The Godfather of New Media in the Arab World.”
